Sketch It Easy

About this event

Sketch It Easy is a regular gathering for quick life drawing sessions, where each participant both draws and models. At the start of the session, everyone is assigned a number, and a randomizer selects the model for each series of poses. We begin with 30-second sketches and gradually increase the pose duration to 3 minutes. Each participant poses for no more than 10 minutes total throughout the entire session. The session consists of three parts: two 30-minute drawing blocks and a sharing session. At the end, we take turns showing our sketches, discussing the process, and sharing our impressions and discoveries. You can join at any skill level: try drawing people from life for the first time, get back into the swing of things, or practice your speed and observational skills. This format is suitable for both beginners and professional artists. All materials are provided on-site. Participation is by donation. Donations go toward paper, supplies & the instructor's support.

Doors open 30 minutes before the listed start. Arrive with time to settle, bring water, and help us care for the people and place around you.
