What does “trauma release” promise?
The phrase is widely used in wellness marketing but does not establish a treatment outcome. Meditation may support some people, while others experience distress. A strong emotional reaction, shaking or crying is not proof that trauma has been resolved. Do not replace or delay appropriate professional care on the basis of a workshop claim.
What to ask about the practice
Ask whether you may keep your eyes open, choose a chair, change posture, decline touch and leave without explaining. Find out how the facilitator responds to distress and whether intense breathing, emotional disclosure or recalling painful experiences is expected. These choices matter more than a trauma-informed label by itself.
A local guide, not a verified therapist directory
We have not verified a Koh Phangan provider’s trauma-specific qualifications for this page, so it does not recommend named trauma facilitators or automatically display general healing events. If you are in treatment, discuss a proposed practice with your clinician and ask the organizer for relevant training and referral arrangements before booking.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a PTSD treatment?
This guide describes a supportive approach to meditation, not a clinical treatment or a promise to cure PTSD. Discuss treatment options with a qualified professional.
How do I check the next date and price?
Use a current dated event page and confirm the terms with the host. This guide does not set prices or guarantee available places.
Can I join in Hebrew or English?

What should I confirm before arriving?
Confirm the exact location, duration, booking requirements, accessibility and what is included. Tell the host about any practical support you need.
